How long does a wash take at Speed Queen?

The estimated time for a complete wash in Speed Queen machines is 30 to 40 minutes, depending on the programme. Drying usually takes between 18 and 30 minutes, depending on the load. So, you can have your laundry ready in less than an hour.

Can I wash duvets in your self-service laundry?

Yes, Speed Queen self-service laundries are equipped with high-capacity washing machines (up to 21 kg), ideal for washing duvets, blankets or sofa covers conveniently and efficiently.

What is the difference between a launderette and a self-service laundry?

The main difference is in who does the laundry process. In a traditional laundry, the staff is in charge of collecting, washing, drying and delivering the clothes. On the other hand, in an automatic laundry, such as those equipped with Speed Queen technology, the customer carries out the entire process autonomously, using professional machines available on the premises. This allows for greater time flexibility, time savings and a more economical cost.

What is the payment method at a Speed Queen laundry?

In a Speed Queen launderette, payment is fast, convenient and contactless. You can pay directly at the machines using coins, bank card or mobile phone (contactless), depending on the system installed in the premises. Some laundries, such as our launderette in Radazul, also offer an app or central kiosk where you select your machine, pay and manage the service easily.

What type of laundry can be washed in a self-service laundry?

In a self-service laundry, such as those equipped with Speed Queen technology, you can wash everything from everyday laundry to large items. This includes:

Everyday clothes (T-shirts, trousers, underwear, etc.)
Duvets, blankets and duvets
Sofa covers and curtains
Sports and work clothes
Delicate clothes (thanks to special programmes)
Even pet clothes, if the laundry has a dedicated machine like at LaundromatRadazul.

Thanks to the large capacity washing machines (up to 21 kg) and specialised programmes, washing is efficient and adapted to each type of garment.

What type of detergent is used in Speed Queen?

Speed Queen laundries use automatic professional detergents, dosed according to the washing programme. At Radazul Laundry, you can also choose between three types of fabric softener: country, floral and microcapsules, for a superior cleaning experience.

How much does a self-service laundry cost?

The price in a self-service laundry varies according to the capacity of the machine and the type of service. At Radazul Laundry with Speed Queen technology, prices range from €6 for 10 kg washing machines to €7 for 21 kg, and €1 every 6 minutes of drying. It is an economical and efficient option.

How does a self-service laundry work?

A self-service laundry is operated by automatic machines that the customer can use themselves. In the case of Speed Queen, you simply choose an available washer or dryer, select the programme, pay (cash or card) and let the machine do the rest. The whole process is quick, intuitive and requires no assistance.
